There was a huge lineup for this place, even on a weekday! I thought to myself - Gosh, this place must taste awesome. Thankfully my cousin came here slightly earlier, so we didn't have to wait as long - I suggest making a reservation before you come. When we were finally called to go inside, my first impression of the restaurant was that the lighting was extremely dim and the walls appeared as though they were black. The theme of the restaurant was modern, princess-styled, slightly romantic and Angelababy themed (of course)!
Sitting down, I saw Angelababy pictures all over the wall in a lightbox. The items on the menu were quite expensive and the portions weren't too big - but since it's my first time here, my cousin and I decided to give it a try. |
First off, I got a rose and berries hot tea. There was a hint of rose in the tea, though the taste wasn't extremely strong.
Next I got a Caeser Salad, which tasted like a normal salad. The sauce wasn't extremely great - tasted like a normal Kraft dressing we buy from the supermarket.
There was complimentary bread - which I must mention was not heated and was served with normal butter.
We got scallop dish with spinach spaghetti noodles, which I thought was the most interesting part of the entire meal - though it was cold, and not really worth it for the prices that they were offering.
Lastly, for dessert, was a creme brulee. Again, nothing too special.
Going there as three adults and one baby, I think it was about $20 Canadian? We weren't too full afterwards and the food wasn't that great - though the presentation and decoration of the place was beautiful. If you're someone who's up for trying new things, I would suggest you to go and check it out, but don't expect too much from the food!
